Meet the Midwife
Romina Paulucci, DEM
Romina is a direct entry midwife serving families in southern Nevada. She unknowingly embarked on her midwifery journey during her firstborn son’s pregnancy and birth, becoming enthralled in all things birth and babies.
Mesmerized by the processes of creating, bringing, and nourishing new life, she pursued a local midwifery apprenticeship not long after her first baby was taking his own first steps.
With breaks and slow seasons for caretaking of her own babies (ages 12, 7, & 6), Romina has been providing birthwork services for almost 10 years. While supporting birth at home is a priority, working as a hospital doula and placenta encapsulator throughout her midwifery apprenticeship broadened her knowledge and support for mothers birthing out of the home, during and after birth.
While her role at birth has changed throughout the years, her mission has stayed the same, to provide exceptional birth services to support and empower our community, with the most profound belief that peace on earth CAN begin with birth.
