Empowering Births

Your story matters, and I am honored to be a part of it.

Birth Doula Support

$2,000

A birth doula provides emotional and physical support throughout labor, birth, and immediate postpartum. They emphasize the importance of informed decision-making and advocating for self and baby’s autonomy. As a doula, I incorporate complementary therapies such as massage and mindfulness techniques to promote relaxation and manage pain.

Birth doula care DOES NOT include birth services as a primary birth provider.

Individualized Monitrice Care

$3,500

A monitrice bridges the gap between doula and midwifery services during pregnancy and labor. In addition to the education and support a birth doula can offer, this monitrice package includes (as wanted/needed):

  • Palpation of belly/baby - to assess baby’s growth and position

  • Intermittent fetal auscultation - monitoring baby’s heart rate via fetoscope or doppler

  • Monitoring of mother’s vital signs - pulse, blood pressure, respirations, temperature

  • Cervical exams - to more accurately assess stage of labor and to help decide when to head to the hospital/birth center, or call the midwife (infrequent and usually unnecessary, given when asked for or if complications arise)

Monitrice care DOES NOT include birth services as a primary birth provider. These services are in lieu of or in addition to prenatal and labor care, and assuming another midwife will arrive for the birth or we are traveling to the hospital/birth center for welcoming baby there.

Once your midwife arrives or we arrive to the hospital/birth center, my provided care will be that of a birth doula.
I do not hold any provider rights in any hospital or birthing center.
